Bos Web Systems specialises in the development of innovative ‚business intelligence‛ web and customised software solutions including online marketing, e-commerce, e-business, intranet/extranet & portal based systems. We are a niche Information & Technology Company developing cutting edge web based solutions to service our current Small/Medium Enterprise, industry, government & corporate clients nationally. Launched in 2000, our business began trading from a home office located in Wollongong to service clients locally and in Sydney. We began to specialise in website development but had begun developing customised web applications, an online communication application and content management system. 2002 & 2003; Bos Web Systems commenced development of our core framework of application modules which form the infrastructure for our systems. We focused our development on, and deployed our systems to, niche markets.
2004; we opened our office in Woolloomooloo to gain access to high level skills for ongoing investment in Research & Development. In May of that year we were successful in our application for a 12 month R&D funding grant from AusIndustry and partnered with Charles Sturt University. 2005; Bos Web Systems moved both our offices in Dubbo & Sydney to larger premises. Later that year, we developed an online export system to service international embassies. Supported by the federal government, and launched by PM John Howard, developed for the Australian Beer & Beverage Company. 2006; we sought greater access to the market through the development of strategic relationships and commenced a joint venture partnership to develop portal-based ‘business intelligence’ (information & knowledge management) software.
2007; formed a second ‘application development specific’ sister company and moved our Sydney office into the city in order to attract & ensure access to the skill levels needed for our ongoing investment in Research & Development. 2008; brought another new direction when after reviewing the annual Research & Development budget and the on-going costs associated with it, a partnership was forged with a leading industry supplier of web development systems. This decision was made in order to provide our clients with an increased array tools for their online business solutions and provide access to continued enhancements, all within a stable and robust environment. Bos Web was recognised for our efforts in the business community at the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce Rhino Awards, being awarded the Silver Rhino in Business Development.
2009; saw a massive increase in the growth of online business and as a result Bos Web has experienced equally high growth. We also won our second Rhino Award, this time for Excellence in Customer Focus. 2010; 400+ websites, 90 custom applications, around 40 'line of business' solutions later - and in partnership with key affiliates – Bos Web Systems is able to provide a comprehensive range of solutions & services to ensure the confidence and support that our clients expect in a company that has been trading for 10 years!
